In Akan tradition, the Sankofa bird turns its head backward while moving forward — a symbol that it is not taboo to return and retrieve what was left behind. The Axiom Suit is built on this belief.

Before the full suit, the tie arrives. 100% silk grenadine in midnight black, with a Sankofa bird motif in matte gold metallic thread — positioned to sit precisely in the V-opening of the waistcoat, or 4 inches below the knot when worn alone.

Inside its lining, hidden near the tip, a woven jacquard tag carries the proverb — seen only by the wearer.
